We have contracted about 1500 farmers in different areas of Kenya for growing French beans and they have started growing for us. We will be in a position to receive about 15-20- Metric Tons of beans from November 2010 and depending on requirements will be in a position to increase volumes in 2- months time. Currently the climate and water availability for irrigation are very good and a lot more farmers are engaging in growing.

Although the area where the factory is situated is a rural area and various raw materials are in available in plenty we still have contracted many more farmers from different areas like, Muranga, Kirinyaga, Subukia etc for growing beans ,as a consistent supply is very crucial for the success of the factory. Also the competition for raw material is very little in the area as NCF is the only processing factory in this region. Most of the other processing facilities are situated around Nairobi which is about 200 Km from our factory.

We have a well experienced team available in the factory; some of them have been working in the French Beans processing in our factory from 1985 onwards and have gained a lot of experience with many different clients.
